I have 17 years of bookkeeping experience with Aquaculture and Not for Profit organisations, using MYOB, including payroll, for up to 20 people on both Apple and Windows platforms. I am also experienced with Strategic Business Planning, Budgeting and preparing BAS, Annual, and Board reports. I am a Member of the Australian Institute of Management and was AIM Not for Profit Manager of the Year NT, in 2013.
I was the Treasurer of the Australian Cattle Dog Club of WA in the early 1980s. I am also familiar with Xero and Quickbooks on Line. I was a nurse for 20 years in California, which taught me precision and accuracy. Since living in Australia, I have received a degree in accounting, learning best practices and international accounting standards. I worked as a payroll officer (with up to 150 employees) for several years, with companies in the mining industry in Western Australia, using high-end payroll softwares.
I’ve worked with MYOB, I am familiar with Xero, and will soon be a Pro Advisor in QBO. I will soon become a member of ICB, which is an excellent way to keep in touch with the rapid changes in bookkeeping as well as networking with other bookkeepers. I love my community of Brunswick.
